Aftermarket

What does Aftermarket mean? Well, on a gaming level it basically means: Selling of new hardware for a gaming platform that has become "legacy", in other words: a gaming platform that is no longer modern or from a previous generation. The manufacturer has either moved on with the current/next generation gaming platform OR has gone out of business. The manufacturer no longer produces new hardware for a particular platform (eg. controllers). Others, third party manufacturers, take over that role and manufacture hardware at the service of the gamers.

Controllers

Retro Fighters has mainfly focused on the gaming controller. They produce the highest of quality controllers! For any of the platforms they have developped products, they have devoted enormous amounts of time and research and development. They want to retain that "authentic" experience per platform. Think of originality of colour, controller looks and in a way even the original feel. However! Retro Fighters has provided each and every of their controllers with "modern" ergonomics and technology. With the latter, think of wireless gaming for example. Can you imagine not having that "wired mess" ever again. (and if you can't...just...you know...I mean...) But seriously, these days we are used to gaming from afar plus maybe having kids run around, totally ignoring wires, pulling down gaming console, Tv and controller in one foul sweep! And if you do dig wired gaming: their wired products are provided with a nice long cord. 

Bottom line is, some of these legacy controllers have aged hopelessly, sometimes on a FUBAR level. Especially for those gamers that did not develop muscle memory for the classic version of a controller. And if do you happen to switch from your PS5/Xbox Series/Switch Pro controller to one of 'dem oldies', lord lord lord, it can be a big pain getting used to it again. Hence the choice for modern ergonomics, as it is tried and true as per present day gaming demands, accross the complete platform line.

Best of Top 3

Retro Fighters is in most cases the best of the top 3, if you happen to look up which manufacturers offer the best aftermarket controllers. Especially on a wireless gaming experience. And let me tell ya', this is a mega market! Super saturated as well. Contrary to competitors, whom usually literally steal (ok..ok..copy) from the original concept and not in a good way. Even worse: messing up that authentic feel completely. You will not find that problem with Retro Fighters.

Price

What is REALLY cool, is that all of the Retro Fighters gear is really economically friendly, especially when comparing to the original manufacturers on a "new price" level. On one hand it proves quite challenging to find an actually "new" old gaming controller. And if you do happen to stumble on one: Good luck having an empty wallet. (and explaining that one to the significant other during dinner) But it is challenging to find controllers for old platforms in general period. Simply because demand is higher than supply. Thankfully, Retro Fighters has got you covered there, with sufficient supply. So Retro Fighters offers AND new AND an economical price tag AND sufficient supply! Why are we still talking about this!?
